Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley: 'Vampire Diaries' Stars Spend Weekend At The 2014 U.S. Open With Kevin Spacey And Sophia Bush

"Vampire Diaries" stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley took a break from portraying their TVD characters Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore over the weekend to enjoy the 2014 U.S. Open. The CW stars were spotted and photographed hanging out with "House of Cards" actor Kevin Spacey and "Chicago P.D." actress Sophia Bush.

According to a Movie Pilot report, actress Sophia Bush shared about spending the weekend with the TVD stars and Kevin Spacey on Twitter. "What do a cop, a politician, and a vampire have in common? TENNIS of course! #usopen #MichaelKelly... http://instagram.com/p/snYGVLjiBi/," Bush posted on her Twitter account @SophiaBush on Sunday, Sept. 7, as a caption to the Instagram image attached. The report further added that the group sat down and enjoyed watching the tennis game where Serena Williams won her 18th Grand Slam and third consecutive championship during the U.S. Open. Nina Dobrev, 25, also shared on Twitter a couple of captured images of herself with some other friends watching the tennis game.

Actress Nina Dobrev was photographed wearing a Rag & Bone hat, an Ella Moss jacket, sunglasses and Acme boots with a Mulberry bag at the event. The TVD star was also spotted and photographed sitting behind Paul Wesley while watching the tennis match.

Additionally, a Just Jared report revealed that actor Paul Wesley was able to hang out and pose for a photograph with "House of Cards" actor Kevin Spacey inside the Moet & Chandon Suite at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center last Saturday, Sept. 6, in New York City. Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder did not join his "Vampire Diaries" co-stars at the game because he spent his weekend break from filming the sixth season of the CW TV series with his girlfriend, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed.

According to a Just Jared report, the 35-year-old heartthrob actor and his new girlfriend were spotted having lunch with a couple of friends at Joan's On Third restaurant in West Hollywood, California on Sunday, Sept. 7. The report further revealed that the couple kept holding hands and looked really cozy with each other during their lunch out. Click HERE to see photos.

The TVD trio are set to return in the sixth season of the hit CW supernatural TV series where they portray the three main characters Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev), Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) and Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder). "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 is scheduled to premiere with episode 1 titled "I'll Remember" on Thursday night, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. EST on the CW Network.
