Nina Dobrev: 'Vampire Diaries' Actress Donates TVD Atlanta Set Visit For Charity

A lucky "Vampire Diaries" fan will be given the opportunity to visit the Atlanta set of the CW TV series where the Mystic Grill and Mystic Falls High are located and hang out with the cast members. Actress Nina Dobrev, who portrays TVD character Elena Gilbert, had donated an exclusive "The Vampire Diaries" set visit on Charitybuzz.com for one lucky winner and the proceeds will go to charity.

According to a Wet Paint report, the lucky fan will have a guided tour on the entire "Vampire Diaries" set in Atlanta, Georgia. The winner may also have the chance to meet the cast and crew members of the CW TV series and even watch them film a scene for the upcoming "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6.

The TVD fans will be able to win the enticing set visit if they bid on it at Charity Buzz until Tuesday, Sept. 9. The 25-year-old CW star is auctioning off the exclusive TVD set visit in order to support the Creative Artist Agency (CAA) School Day which provides assistance to Communities in Schools and DonorsChoose.org.

These organizations are dedicated to helping the students who are in need, allowing them to remain in school and preventing the occurrence of high school dropouts. The report further added that it is Charity Buzz's second year of hosting a "School Day" auction for charity.

Interested fans can bid on prizes from other celebrities until Thursday, Sept. 18. In a Zap2it report, the other celebrities that team up with the Hollywood agency CAA for a "School Day" auction include Zac Efron, Jon Hamm, Robert Downey Jr., Halle Berry and James Franco.

Meanwhile, TVD fans will be seeing a devastated Elena Gilbert in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 6. A teaser trailer for the upcoming new season has been released and it shows Elena is not handling Damon's (Ian Somerhalder) death very well in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 5 finale.

In the brief "Bite Back" promo video, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley) tells Elena that she needs to say goodbye to Damon while Caroline (Candice Accola) is bothered with Elena's behaviour. The blonde vampire revealed that Elena has a witchy drug problem that allows her to hallucinate about her dead boyfriend.

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 premiere will be on Thursday night, Oct. 2, at 8 p.m. EST on the CW Network.
