"Vampire Diaries" fans are still hoping that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will get back together, but the 24-year-old brunette beauty appears to be enjoying the company of another guy right now. Ms Dobrev was spotted getting cozy with "Dancing with the Stars" professional dancer Derek Hough at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.

According to a Wetpaint report, Nina was spotted with Derek watching a magical performance. A fan captured the cozy moment between the two and shared the video on Instagram. The recently shared video shows a different side to the previous reports claiming Nina and Derek are just close friends.

Ms Dobrev's arms can be seen in the video comfortably tucked underneath the 28-year-old pro dancer as they watched, smiled and enjoyed the magical show. Additionally, the "Vampire Diaries" actress looked happy as she giggled, played with her hair and danced a little while watching the magic show with Derek.

Nina even shared her magical experience with Derek Hough to her followers on social networking site Twitter. The actress wrote on her Twitter account @ninadobrev: "Ok I see how it is! @derekhough ya ya ya.. I know the drill. A magician never reveals his tricks... Or shares his cool apps. Lol."

It has been months since Nina Dobrev ended her relationship with "Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder and things between the two only show an onscreen reunion for the successful CW TV series. Ms Dobrev spent most of her free time hanging out with her best friend Julianne Hough or her brother Derek.

A previous report revealed that Nina was spotted getting cozy with Derek Hough at the Lollapalooza event with an anonymous witness sharing that the two "seemed really into each other." However, reps of the actress were quick to deny the dating rumors and claim that Nina and Derek are "just good friends."

There is no denying that Nina and Derek became really close to each other, of course, with the help of Nina's BFF and Derek's sister Julianne Hough. Lately, the actress has been posting tweets about Derek including their comical pictures together and her support for him on "Dancing with the Stars."

After watching Derek's performance with dancing partner Amber Riley, Nina excitedly tweeted: "YOU GUYS KILLED IT! WAY TO BRING IT! 27!!! Woooo @derekhough and @msamberpriley." She followed it with a tweet dedicated to the "Glee" actress Amber Riley that reads: "This is great. Amber you truly are an inspiration. So proud of you :) "@MsAmberPRiley: @GMA http://abcn.ws/1563q4B beautiful words :)"
