There are a couple of new “Super Mario” titles and franchise that will come out, while one title is already out on the eShop.

“Super Mario” fans can expect something innovative as far as the franchise is concerned. Though it does not seem like it will come this year. According to IGN, Nintendo has confirmed that it will be looking to innovate and challenge what has been released for the “Super Mario” games franchise.

“We’re always challenging ourselves to create something new, so hopefully you’ll see a new kind of Mario in about a year or two,” said Shigeru Miyamoto to IGN. He also suggested that maybe the team will be able to share something come next year’s E3.

Miyamoto stated that the main challenge when it comes to innovating the “Super Mario” franchise is that its audience is varied and wide. This is why the developer is now exploring the conventions put on the Mario franchise to think of ways to make it fresh again.

Nintendo has confirmed that it will roll out some new amiibo figures from the “Super Mario” and Donkey Kong franchise. The seven amiibo figures include Wario and Waluigi, Daisy, Rosalina, Boo, Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong. All of them will be available in store on Nov. 4, Eurogamer reported.

These new amiibo figures are an additional announcement, which will be from “The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.” The amiibo figures, seen in the trailer below, incudes Rider Link, Archer Link and the Guardian robot. What they will bring to the game as amiibo figures are yet to be revealed.

Another sure “Super Mario” title coming is the “Super Paper Mario.” Slated for the North American eShop, the “Super Paper Mario” classic will be available for US$19.99, according to DualShockers.

The game was released for the Wii back in 2007, so this title will be available for the Wii U’s eShop, and will require the Wii-Mote to play.
