While Lindsay Lohan is turning her life around, staying away from the partying and drinking scene, and saying what she has to say to be mentally healthy in her new show Lindsay on the Oprah Winfrey Network, this does not mean the actress is going to have the chance to act in the same role for Mean Girls movie that somehow cemented how great of an actress she was.

Rumors have circulated on how a Mean Girls reunion movie is on the works, but Tina Fey, the 43-year old comedienne who wrote the original film was quick to shut down the rumors. This means people will not be seeing Lindsay Lohan Rachel Adams, Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert on the same movie screen anytime soon.

Lindsay Lohan has herself shared that she has been approached by Fey about a Mean Girls 10th anniversary project in the works. However, Lohan prematurely believed that this project means a Mean Girls reunion movie or Mean Girls Part 2.

Fey shared to Access Hollywood: "[There's] definitely not a movie. It's just the anniversary is coming up, so everybody get your pink shirts. It's been 10 years. You can tell when you look at me it's been 10 years." MTV reports.

Fey, a former Saturday Night Live star didn't completely claim there will not be any kind of reunion for the cast but she is sure there will not be a follow up to the catty high-school comedy. This would have been an epic news for Mean Girls fans, especially Lohan's hardcore fans.

She explained: "I said to her [Lindsay], 'Oh, I think someone may call us about doing some kind of reunion because next month is the tenth anniversary of the movie.' And so really... if everyone's around we might try to do some kind of like panel discussion. But it's not another movie. At most it would be like a panel discussion with a plate of hot wings."

Lohan fans who want to see her on the screen can just stay tuned to Lohan's new reality show, Lindsay. The show premiered last week. Below is a clip from what drama you can see in Lindsay
