No More Hiding Same-Sex Relationship for Former Glee Star Charice Pempengco and GF Alyssa Quijano (PHOTOS)

Unlike many celebrity-couples who claim to media they are just friends when they are in a relationship, former Glee star Charice Pempengco said she will not attempt to hide the real score between her and girlfriend Alyssa Quijano, an upcoming singer.

She said that after admitting to the public on Sunday over The Buzz that she is lesbian, the next step would be to come clean if she indeed have a relationship with her former singing contest rival.

"We don't want to deny, we don't want to fool people. We don't want that when we go out in public, we hold hands and then we will insist to the public that we're just friends. We're not like that," Charice said in Tagalog, quoted by Pep.ph.

"So if we are a couple, then we are a couple. If we are just friends, then we will say we are just friends," she added.

She said that when she decided to come out, which Charice initially wanted to be done in the TV show of another lesbian celebrity, Ellen DeGeneres, she knew people would invade her privacy, particularly her love life and relationship with Alyssa.

"It part of the package," she reasoned out.

Charice finds no reason to continue hiding from the public after her Sunday coming out. On top of her plans now is to hold concerts in the Philippines.

"I miss so much performing for my Filipino fans," said Charice, who has thousands of followers called Chasters.

Besides dealing with the hurt she caused her mother, Raquel, for leaving home and coming out, Charice said that the family of Alyssa has not yet 100 per cent their relationship, but she is hopeful to win their hearts over time.

Before her coming out, there were reports that Charice and Alyssa had eloped and that Alyssa's mother searched for her daughter accompanied by an investigator. She allegedly managed to get her daughter back, while the incident was said to have resulted in Charice physically harming Raquel, which led to their estrangement.
