"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara looked stunning as she made her arrival at the 2013 Emmy Awards Red carpet on Sept. 22. The 41-year old actress wore a Vera Wang figure hugging red lace gown with her cleavage on display. Unlike last year, the Columbian actress did not give an accidental peek into her derriere. At Emmy's 2012, Sofia suffered from a major wardrobe malfunction just before going up on the stage to accept an award along with her cast members. Vergara's sequined gown split open from back, giving baring her envious derriere.

This year Sofia was nominated under the category of Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Modern Family". When quizzed by the reporters regarding her ensemble for the Emmy 2013 Sofia revealed that she is wearing jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz, and nails by Covergirl Outlast in Nude. Beaming with pride, the curvaceous Vergara even revealed that she is wearing a pair of K-mart panties which she has designed herself. Bold!

However the sexy actress did not shy away from opening about her 'not-so-sexy' sleeping rituals. She told Giuliana Rancic of E!online.com that she can't hit the sack before putting on socks.

"Believe me, there's a whole list of things about me which are not sexy. I can't sleep without socks. I put them on at the end of the night when nobody's looking. These are cool socks. 'Pretty socks, not like dirty socks,'" Vergara said.

Vergara lost the Best Supporting Actress trophy for the fourth time in a row to Merritt Wever ("Nurse Jackie"). The other actresses who were nominated in the category were Ane Krakowski ("30 Rock"), Jane Lynch ("Glee"), "Julie Bowen ("Modern Family"), Mayim Bialik ("The Big Bang Theory" ) and Anna Chlumsky ("Veep")

The new season of Modern Family returns on Sept. 25.
