La Trobe University was appalled when it learnt that Australian porn actress Angela White filmed one of her X-rated scenes inside the library of its Bundoora campus in the early part of 2014.

The opening shot of the sex scenes was between bookshelves and there was actually a student nearby perusing the books. So White and her male partner moved to the desks where a lookout was on hand to ensure they would not be caught by the librarian.

White shared with Vice that the scene taken inside the library was supposed to be an amateur video shot for fun; however, it became a hit and it led to the identification of the location.

AGW Entertainment, her production company based in The Netherlands, apologised for the controversy the library scene caused and theremoved the footage from its Web site.

However, White said she does not regret the incident because it may have encouraged more people to spend time in the library and pick up a book. "Then I'll take that small victory," she told the Herald Sun.

The incident led to Aussies betting where would be the location of her next X-rated film. Among the top choices are on the turf of the MCG and on top of the Eureka Tower. Other spots include behind a lift, in a car park, inside a McDonald's restaurant, on the steps of the Sydney Opera House, on the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Kimbilli House.
