Justin Bieber's mother, Pattie Mallette, won't be taking off her clothes. A rep for the 16-year-old Canadian pop star has slammed reports that the 34-year-old mother received offers to pose topless for men's magazine, Playboy.

The rep said that the reports "are absolutely false", although a rep from Playboy previously responded to the report, making a remark that "We're not commenting on this at this time", which could've meant that the rumours were true.

"While nature's beauty in any form is worthy of appreciation, Justin's mom Patricia is a born again Christian. There is no truth that she would ever pose in Playboy, as it goes against her religion," Ravi Batra, a legal rep of Bieber, said in a statement confirming that Mallette won't be posing topless for the camera.

The rumor on the Playboy offer first came from celebrity blogger Zack Taylor. The site said that Mallette will be given $50,000 if she would pose for a spread in an upcoming issue.

Meanwhile, Bieber has been skipping awards shows lately. He missed the MTV Movie awards's live show last June 6, and now, he failed to attend the BET Awards 2010 on Sunday, June 27. Reports say that his schedule is "so hectic" that's why he wasn't able to come to the show which was hosted by Queen Latifah in Los Angeles, California.

Bieber told his Twitter followers: "Just wanted to say I would have been at the awards but this show was booked before the nominees came out, and I don't cancel shows. I would never cancel a show and let down the fans unless I had to... but I do wish i was there too, because I am honored to just be nominated."

Justin was nominated for the best new artist.
