Nokia EOS Rumors: Upcoming 41MP Camera Phone’s Features and Specs [PHOTOS]
New information about the upcoming Nokia EOS 41MP camera phone has surfaced on tech web sites. MyNokiaBlog reports the Finnish company is currently working on two smart phone models with remarkable features and specifications that will impress the device enthusiasts.
Nokia is reportedly testing two EOS versions that have similar features and specifications except the processor. One smart phone version has the dual-core processor while the other version has the Qualcomm's Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.
According to the MyNokiaBlog, the company may only unveil one EOS version because the quad-core Nokia EOS deals with some battery problems. The Nokia EOS will be incorporated with the 2000mAh battery similar to the Nokia Lumia 920 smart phone.
The ground-breaking 41MP PureView camera with aperture lens and a sensor that pushes Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) makes the upcoming Nokia device very appealing. "In regards to actual camera performance, the EOS should pack a similar camera sensor to its predecessor with a 41MP sensor, Xenon & LED flash, OIS and possibly a Variable Aperture lens like the N86. Also mentioned is a more detailed camera UI similar to that of on the 808," the MyNokiaBlog report reads.
Other features and specifications of the Nokia EOS include the AMOLED screen display with a 1280x768p resolution, FM radio, microSD card slot and micro HDMI-out port. The screen display size has not yet been verified as well as the support for a 2k or 4k video recording on the Nokia EOS.
There is a speculation that Microsoft plans to release the next update on the Windows Phone 8 before the year 2013 ends. According to The Verge report, Nokia EOS will also have its exclusive launch at the US telecommunications operator AT&T during the later part of this year. The camera phone is expected to have its world-wide release about one to three months after the launch.
