The Nokia Lumia 1320 budget phone will reportedly be launched in Australia on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2014 and it will be priced at $449 AUD.

According to Gizmodo Australia, the Nokia Lumia 1320 phone will be available for Australians who sign up for a mobile phone plan or contract with Vodafone and Telstra. Or, they can also visit mobile phone retailers such as Harvey Norman and pay $449 AUD to get the phone outright.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 is a new phone from the Finnish communications and information technology corporation. It has a 6-inch display size with super sensitive touch screen technology. It is much bigger than the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. That's why it's usually considered as a phablet, which is a combination of a phone and a tablet in one device.

It has a Qualcomm SnapdragonTM S4 Dual-core 1.7 GHz processor, a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity technology. It is also Wi-Fi and WLAN enabled.

The data storage of the Nokia Lumia 1320 has 1 GB of RAM, 8 GB of mass memory, 64 GB of maximum memory card size, 7 GB of free cloud storage and an expandable Micro SD memory card. It uses the Windows Phone software platform.

It manages calls well with its various phone features including integrated hands-free speakers, call waiting, voice commands, call forwarding and voice mail. Skype users can even make video calls through this phablet. What's great is that this has a noise cancellation feature for clearer phone calls.

Plus, it has colourful back covers which are available in yellow, orange, white and black to suit varying preferences.

According to News.com.au, the Nokia Lumia 1320 allows users to have a smartphone and a small tablet in one without breaking the bank. The 5-megapixel camera is said to be okay for casual photographers, but is a bit grainy compared to other smartphones' cameras.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 budget phablet was first launched at the annual Nokia World event in Abu Dhabi on October 22, 2013. Australians need not wait any longer because it will finally be available in the Land Down Under starting on Feb. 4, 2014 for only $449 AUD.
