Initial reports on the Nokia Lumia 530, successor to the Nokia Lumia 525 smartphone, claimed the upcoming Windows Phone handset has been codenamed "Nokia Rock." However, notable mobile device source @evleaks recently teased on Twitter that the Nokia Lumia 530 will be the "Nokia Rise" device for T-Mobile USA.

The message that @evleaks posted on Twitter last Friday, May 23, reads: "Nokia Rise = Lumia 530 for T-Mobile USA." Other details on the rumoured device were not revealed such as features, specs, availability and price.

According to the Mobile & Apps report, the T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 530 Windows Phone handset is expected to have 4G LTE support. The other expected features and specs previously leaked for the device with the model number RM-1027 include a 4-inch WVGA screen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution, an Adreno 305 GPU, 512 MB or 1 GB of RAM, a dual- or quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor and Microsoft's recently announced Window Phone 8.1 mobile operating system.

The Windows Phone handset is also likely to be equipped with a 5 MP rear-facing camera and 8 GB internal storage capacity that can be expanded through the available microSD card slot. In the Mobile Mag report, an affordable pricing scheme is expected for the Nokia Lumia 530 and it is estimated to be less than or about $150 with no agreements.

Meanwhile, for comparison purposes, the features and specs for the predecessor of the Nokia Lumia 530 include the 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and scratch-resistant glass, 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8227 chipset, Microsoft Windows Phone 8 Black operating system, Adreno 305 GPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage capacity that can be expanded up to 64GB through the microSD card slot.

There is also a 5 MP primary camera on the device, 7 GB of free SkyDrive storage and the 1430 mAh Li-Ion battery capable of up to 17 hours talk time in 2G while 10 hours in 3G and music play of up to 48 hours. Consumers can choose from the available colour options of the WP handset such as black, white, yellow and red.
