The AT&T Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone price has been dropped down to only $39 for the 2014 Black Friday sale. Microsoft offers the Nokia Lumia 635 contract-free so the customers will not be burdened with the typical two-year contract or service agreement and they can upgrade to another available AT&T smartphone at any time.

"We have seen a great response to this phone in black. We encourage customers to go to their local Microsoft Store where the 635 is in stock. We will also have additional stock for Black Friday in stores and online, but...we expect them to go quickly," an unnamed Microsoft spokesperson shared to CNET. Additionally, an unnamed AT&T spokesperson confirmed that the smartphone is locked and the device will only work on AT&T's network.

According to a CNET report, retail chain Best Buy will also be slashing down the price of the Nokia Lumia 635 to only $40 under AT&T's GoPhoen prepaid plan. A representative from Best Buy revealed that the deal will be available at the Best Buy retail stores and online starting at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 27, and run through Saturday, Nov. 29.

Meanwhile, a GSMArena report claims that consumers can get their hands on the Nokia Lumia 635 for free but they have to agree to a two-year agreement with a major carrier. Newegg also offers the Nokia Lumia 635 with a price tag of $99.99 and if interested customers purchase the unlocked device on the online retailer, they will be getting a T-Mobile prepaid card pre-installed.

The Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touch screen display with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 1.25 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 512 MB RAM, Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 OS and Adreno 305 GPU. The other smartphone features and specs include 4G LTE, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 8 GB internal storage capacity with microSD card slot to expand memory storage up to 128 GB, 1830 mAh Li-Ion battery, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB v2.0 and the available colour choices of bright orange, bright green, bright yellow, white and black.
