The Nokia Lumia 635 will be available on Sprint, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile soon. Sprint announced on Tuesday, Dec. 16, that they will begin selling the Nokia Lumia 635 Windows Phone handset as well as both of their prepaid brands, Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.

According to a GSMArena report, Boost and Virgin will be the first ones to offer the Nokia Lumia 635 smartphone. On Tuesday, Dec. 23, Boost will sell the cyan Nokia Lumia 635 while Virgin Mobile will sell the white colour option of the Windows Phone handset.

As for the pricing scheme, both prepaid brands will sell the Nokia Lumia 635 at $99.99 excluding taxes and the need to sign any contracts to acquire the smartphone. Boost Mobile's stores will begin to offer the Nokia Lumia 635 on Jan. 9, 2015 as well as select independent wireless dealers.

Sprint's postpaid customers can get their hands on the Nokia Lumia 635 on Jan. 16, 2015. However, the pricing scheme on the device has not yet been announced.

"This is really the representation of our restart of the partnership with Sprint. We'll expand that portfolio over time," Matt Rothschild, head of the North American sales for Microsoft's mobile devices division that makes Lumia phones, stated in a PC Mag report.

The report further claimed that the Nokia Lumia 635 will have Sprint's high-speed Spark network. However, the device will not be launched with the carrier's HD Voice or Wi-Fi calling features. "Those may be added in a software update," Rothschild explained.

Matt Rothschild added that it is something that they will broaden in their portfolio. "It's something we'll look for in upgrades or future devices. We will absolutely look to broadening the portfolio at all price tiers and all experiences," Rothschild assured the consumers.

The Nokia Lumia 635 has a 4.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, ClearBlack display, 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512 MB of RAM, Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1 operating system and Adreno 305 GPU. Additional features and specs include a 5 MP rear-facing camera, 8 GB of internal storage capacity, a microSD card slot that expands memory storage up to 128 GB, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and a 1,830 mAh Li-Ion battery.
