Nokia unveiled a new smart phone, the Nokia Lumia 720, at the 2013 Mobile World Congress held in Barcelona, Spain. According to Nokia, they are targeting a youthful and stylish demographic as an approach to broaden the users of Nokia devices.

The Nokia Lumia 720 smart phone has a similar squared-off edges design with a 4.3-inch WVGA screen display, a ClearBlack filter that can lessen the outdoor glare and a sensitive screen responding to any navigational gesture even though the user wears hand gloves or has long nails.

The slim Windows Phone 8 handset at 128 grams has a 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM and 8GB internal storage capacity with a microSD card slot added that can expand memory storage up to 64GB and 7GB of free SkyDrive storage paired with a 1.0 GHz Dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor. Nokia Lumia 720 has a wireless charging capability.

Nokia Lumia 720 features the latest HERE suite of applications such as HERE Maps, HERE Drive and HERE Transit. The latest smart phone offers unlimited music streaming as well which is free from advertisements or subscription charges.

Nokia Music allows the device users to download song playlists and listen to music offline. With the NFC connectivity, music can be streamed without any difficulty from the Nokia Lumia 720 to the NFC enabled accessories when the two devices are tapped at the same time.

The remarkable Nokia smart phone has a 6.7MP rear-facing camera with an f2.0 aperture designed to capture images from low-light conditions like night time and an LED flash. A 1.3MP camera can be found as well on the Nokia Lumia 720 that supports Skype HD. Nokia offers the Lumia 720 in different colors like red, cyan, yellow, black and white.

Wide-angle lens are provided in the Nokia Lumia 720 to include more faces in the self-portrait images. The smart phone's photo-editing tools feature the digital make-up where teeth can be whitened, skin can have a softer glow and eyes can be enlarged. The 2000mAH battery offers outstanding Nokia Lumia 720 performance and user experience.

Nokia plans to put up for sale the Lumia 720 some time this quarter in Asia and Europe. China Mobile will reportedly sell the Nokia Lumia 720 in the second quarter of 2013. For the Lumia 720 price, Nokia offers the latest smart phone for €249 at full retail price which is approximately $320 - $338.
