Amid speculations that Nokia will roll out the Lumia 928 in April on Verizon Wireless, Techno Buffalo cited on Wednesday an WPCentral report that the successor to the Lumia 928 and 920, the Lumia 950, is coming out soon.

Both Techno Buffalo and CNET published leaked photos of the Lumia 950 which showed a model in plain black colour.

CNET, however, cited the WPCentral report that the image may be that of a prototype model of the Lumia 920. Rumoured specs of the Lumia 950 include an AMOLED touchscreen with 1,280x768-pixel resolution, 2GB of RAM and extended battery life.

Since the image is apparently a prototype, Techno Buffalo said the release date and price are still not clear at this point.

Pastimers posted on YouTube in February alleged full specifications of the Nokia Lumia 950.

WMPoweruser, however, believes the WPCentral photo leak is a fake based on wrong buttons, lack of particular Nokia styling, blurred edges of the photo, plus it could possibly be a tail-end April Fools' Day joke.

Definitely, there is no confirmation yet from the Finnish tech company about both the Nokia Lumia 950 and 928, although Gottabemobile cited a Phone Arena spotting of the latter's photo on Flickr based on a picture of a tester using the phone at Sea World in San Diego.

However, the photo wasn't very clear and the 928 appeared to be only a reflection but looks similar to the 920 model.
