Nominees for the 2012 APRA Music Awards; Gotye and Kimbra Top Contenders for APRA Song of the Year

Prolific and new breed of Australian artists will battle it out in the upcoming APRA Music Awards.

The awards show is an annual event that aims to recognize the songwriting skills, sales and airplay performance by its members. These awards are to honour achievements by songwriters including the APRA Music Awards, the APRA Classical Music Awards and the Screen Awards, all in Australia.

Kimbra, Gotye, Matt Corby, The Beards and Lanie Lane are only some of the nominees in the ARPA Music Awards.
