Norman Reedus of ‘The Walking Dead’ Voices The Axe-Wielding Warden on ‘Axe Cop’
The filming of the entire "The Walking Dead" season 4 has been completed this month and the first half of season 4 is over. The cast has a lot of time to kill but the actors won't sit around idly. The production of "Walking Dead" season 5 will begin in spring 2014. The resident crossbow expert of "The Walking Dead," Norman Reedus is ready to spring into action for the extra time. Norman bagged an exciting gig on "Axe Cop," an animated series which airs Saturday nights on FOX at 11 p.m. ET.
According to Comicbook.com, Norman will be lending his voice to a nasty warden on the series. "Axe Cop" is about a police officer who uses unorthodox methods to nail the criminal. Rather than a crossbow, the officer uses an axe during fights.
Nick Weldenfeld, "Axe Cop" executive producer called Norman the "creepiest warden ever." He is surely quite pumped for roping in Norman for the role.
"Just did a voice on AXE COP!" tweeted Norman before Thanksgiving.
"Axe Cop" is not the only animated show that Norman has voiced for. The "Walking Dead" actor also voiced The Punisher in "Iron Man: Rise of Technovore" (a Marvel animated movie).
