Law firm, Norton Rose Australia, became the first tenant to sign a lease for the 6 star Green Star premium office building, the One One One Eagle Street development slated to be finished by the end of the year.

The GPT Group developed the office tower with an emphasis on sustainable design. "Our team has meticulously designed One One One Eagle Street, with each design element focused on maximizing staff satisfaction and office productivity. We want this building to offer a platform that can be used by our customers to maximize their success," GPT CEO and Managing Director, Michael Cameron said.

The building was inspired by Brisbane's own Fig Tree Island and incorporates an organic structural frame working in harmony with an offset core flooded with natural light due to the high ceilings against the fully glazed high performance façade. The result is a highly flexible floor plate that utilizes the extensive skyline and Brisbane River views.

Managing Partner Don Boyd of Norton Rose Australia said the company's move to Brisbane's leading office tower forms an important part of the practice's strategic growth plans "Brisbane is fast becoming one of the most important business hubs in Australia, servicing the booming resources industry. We expect our business in Brisbane to grow in line with this and have recently made significant lateral partner appointments to our team there. One One One Eagle Street is a great, modern space for our team and will support our needs, and those of our clients, for many years to come," Boyd said.
