Not Following Orders To Turn Off Cellphone, US Woman Gets Booted Out of US Airways Flight, Hurls Verbal Expletives Against Police, Gets Charged (AUDIO/VIDEO)
A US Airways flight 906 from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., to Charlotte, N.C., got delayed from its original take off schedule on Sunday not because of technical error or by causes lashed out by nature. Lindsay Capri Bien-aime delayed the flight's takeoff by 30 minutes because she refused to coordinate with airport security to get out of the plane. Plane staff had called in for support after Ms Bien-aime deliberately snubbed to follow orders to turn off her cellphone as they prepare to take off.
Agents from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) got inside the US Airways plane to ask Ms Bien-aime to get off the flight. But instead of working with airport security staff, the 22-year-old started raising her voice and hurling expletives.
"This is bullsh**, I'm gonna hold up the whole plane, Someone gotta tell me something." Apparently, she had no idea she had been ignoring the flight attendants' orders to stop talking on her phone.
But it didn't end there. Ms Bien-aime still didn't budge in her seat.
The whole proceedings, recorded through cellphone by another fellow passenger, could hear the TSA agent saying "You can get off the plane or you can get off the plane and go to jail."
Eventually, airport security was able to drag and cuff her, but not until two other burly passengers helped on.
Ms Bien-aime's been slapped with multiple charges, including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest with violence, and assault on law enforcement officers.
The unfortunate incident was captured on audio/video. Watch at your own risk. Don't tell us we didn't warn you though.
