Novak Djokovic, Peugeot International Ambassador, Takes The 2015 Peugeot 208 GTi For A Spin
The world no. 1 tennis superstar and Peugeot international ambassador, Novak Djokovic, took the 2015 Peugeot 208 GTi for a spin. In January, Peugeot announced its global partnership with Djokovic and released their first television commercial, which featured Novak for the car brand.
In May, the world no. 1 appeared on stage in London at the Peugeot 508 launch with Peugeot Brand CEO Maxime Picat. The Peugeot 508 showcases a new grille and is equipped with the latest technology such as blind spot sensors, reversing camera and touch screen. Moreover, the Peugeot 508 features an efficient and economical Euro 6 power unit, the 2.0 litre BlueHDi 150 6-speed manual, which is the best for such level of engine power.
Based on the Sun motors report, the tennis superstar loved the car. "It looks so elegant and comfortable inside. I was driving the 508 Hybrid4 a few months ago and it was very smooth on the road - and because it was a hybrid it was also very eco-friendly with great performance. So you really have everything," Djokovic revealed.
Just recently, the 27-year-old Serbian took the 2015 Peugeot 208 GTi for a spin. New Tang Dynasty Television posted a video where the tennis superstar is seen driving the car.
Peugeot unveiled the 208 GTi at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed 30 years after the 205 GTi. The Peugeot 208 GTi delivers intense driving experience with its brand new Euro 6.1 6-litre THP petrol engine developing 208 hp and torque increased to 300 Nm.
The six-speed manual gearbox mated Peugeot 208 GTi will be launched at the upcoming 2014 Paris Motor show, with sales beginning on November. The car is expected to have exceptional traction and efficiency assured through its Torsen differential, specific suspension and steering settings.
