Novak Djokovic Receives Peugeot 107 Pedal Car For His Newborn
World No. 1 Novak Djokovic has received a newborn gift from the luxury car brand Peugeot. The French carmaker has given Djokovic a Peugeot 107 Pedal Car as a gift for his first born Stefan.
"Congratulations @DjokerNole and welcome Stefan, a special Peugeot is waiting for you #TeamDjoko #Djokovic," Peugeot tweeted along with the picture of the pedal-operated car. Djokovic acknowledged the gift by retweeting it to his Twitter followers.
The Peugeot 107 pedal car is suitable for toddler aged 3 to 5 years old, so baby Stefan won't be able to use the car toy just yet. It costs around AUD$425.
Djokovic became the ambassador of Peugeot in January. According to a statement, Peugeot chose Djokovic because he represents Peugeot brand values, namely, excellence, allure, and emotion. Djokovic was ranked second in the world when he began his partnership with Peugeot.
Djokovic has said that he was happy to be able to be a symbol and stand for the French carmaker. "In my eyes, Peugeot embodies French elegance, refinement, and the expression of a certain art of living."
As an ambassador, Djokovic will be wearing the car's logo on his Uniqlo tennis outfits. Djokovic is also required to attend all Peugeot's promotional activities.

Djokovic got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Jelena in September 2013. They announced her pregnancy in April. They exchanged vows in July, only a few days after Djokovic claimed his second Wimbledon trophy.
Djokovic and his wife Jelena welcomed their baby boy on Oct. 21 in Nice, France. Djokovic made the official announcement on social media on Oct. 23. Following Djokovic's announcement, the couple received newborn baby wishes, messages, and congratulations from fans and colleagues.
Djokovic's fellow compatriot and good friend Ana Ivanovic said she was happy for the new parents. She said she was overjoyed to find out about the good news. Ivanovic learned about the baby news on Oct. 22. It was the day of her second match at the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Finals in Singapore, where she defeated Eugenie Bouchard of Canada in straight sets, 6-1, 6-3.
"I was really thrilled for them," Ivanovic said. "It's one of the best moments you can have in life, you know."
