Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams are the top seeds of the upcoming 2014 Rogers Cup, which will begin from August 4 - 10.

The event is a part of the ATP World Tour Master 1000 of ATP World Tour and WTA Premier 5 tournaments of WTA Tour in Canada.

The 2014 U.S. Open series will start next week in Toronto, where the world no. 1 and the 17-time Grand Slam champion are likely to arrive this weekend to be a part of the 2014 Rogers Cup.

In the men's singles, Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will lead in Toronto, while Serena Williams and Li Na will lead the women's singles in Montreal. Meanwhile, Juan Martin Del Potro has withdrawn due to a wrist surgery and Alexandr Dolgopolov had a knee surgery.

No. 8 seed Grigor Dimitrov, who showcased outstanding performance in 2014 Wimbledon Champions, also withdrawn from the Washington D.C. tournament due to flu.

World no. 3 Simona Halep might skip from the WTA Rogers Cup because she prefers to take rest and regain her optimum fitness for the upcoming U.S. Open on August 25 in New York.
