Australian-born actress Yvonne Strahovski, who is one of the victims of the latest Hollywood photo-hacking scandal, where nude pictures of celebrities were stolen from their persobal accounts and leaked on Internet, has spoken up about the controversy. Though the 32-year-old blonde actress believes that the nude pictures released on Internet by the hackers are actually "fake" and not hers but she still firmly feels that the culprits of this heinous crime should be punished.

Strahovski called the whole act of nude picture leak scandal "disappointing" and even "frightening" in a recent interview with Daily Mail Australia on Thursday. The "Chuck and Dexter" actress is of the opinion that if the hackers could get access to the celebrities' personal pictures from iCloud, it is quite possible that the passwords and other personal information about bank accounts of various celebrities might also be on stake.

"It's sad that people will invade someone's privacy -- and this is not only regarding someone's private photos -- but this goes deep into people's financial privacy, their passwords, their emails, their text messages," said Yvonne in her interview.

The gorgeous actress called the scandal as "a criminal act" and wished that the people behind it are "prosecuted" by the FBI, which is looking into the matter. The hackers who allegedly got hold of Yvonne's nude pictures did not show her face in it. The actress released a statement on her Instagram account that the nudes do not belong to her and requested people not to share or spread the controversial pictures further.

Yvonne is one of the hundred celebrities who made it to the hacker's list for their nude photos hacked from their personal accounts. The hackers' list includes names of famous Hollywood celebs like Kate Upton, Jennifer Lawrence, Victoria Justice, Rihanna, Kim Kardashian and many others. Other Australian celebrities caught in this scandal include Teresa Palmer and Emily Brownibng.

However, the scandal has not deterred the actress to promote the DVD release of "24: Live Another Day" where she stars along actor Kiefer Sutherland as a CIA agent. The light-haired Aussie actress who has shifted base to America visited her home country Australia to promote "24: Live Another Day," which will be released on October 1. Watch her interview below.
