Three British princes are visiting Australia in 2013 and 2014. They are the 2nd, 3rd and 4th in-line heirs to the throne.

The 4th-in-line heir, Prince Harry, will be in Australia on Oct 3-11 to attend several events that mark the 100 years of the first entry of the Royal Australian Navy's fleet in Sydney, Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott announced on Monday.

It would be the 28-year-old playboy prince's first official visit to Australia, although he had been to the country Down Under in 2003 on a gap year.

The second son of the heir to the throne, Prince Charles, and the late Princess Diana, is known in the military where he is an Apache helicopter pilot with the British Army Air Corps as Captain Wales.

Past misadventures of the young prince include being photographed nude with women in Las Vegas while engaged in a game of strip poker.

By 2014, the 2nd and 3rd in line to the British throne also plan to visit Australia and New Zealand. But this early Prince William, the 2nd-in-line, and his wife, Kate Middleton, are preparing early for the Oceania trip by applying for a passport for their nine-week-old son, Prince George. The passport for the 3rd-in-line costs $78.

His father, the Duke of Cambridge, shared about the young family's plan to visit Australia at the Anglesey Show in August. Prince William visited Australia when he was also nine-months old with his parents, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, when they were still together.

Royal protocol actually requires an heir to the throne and the next-in-line should not be in the same plane ride, but Queen Elizabeth is expected to grant approval for the father-and-son and the mother to travel together for the Australia and New Zealand trip.
