Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update is rumoured not to arrive on Samsung Galaxy S2. But for Galaxy S2 Plus I9105P owners, expect an official roll out soon in your area because the Android 4.2.2 firmware has reached Germany.

The joyful moment of Galaxy S2 Plus owners is finally happening with the dawn of Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update rolling out in Germany. Android 4.2.2 firmware release has I9105PXXUBMG8 build version and currently available through Samsung Kies.
Due to this update, Galaxy S2 Plus is now rumoured to get Android 4.3 Jelly Bean sometime before the end of 2013 together with Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2.

How to Update your Galaxy S2 Plus
Right now the update is being pushed via Samsung Kies and through manual installation process; OTA version is not yet available.
A. Samsung Kies
1. Download and install the Samsung Kies application from Samsung's Web site to your computer. If you already have installed it, the suite needs to be updated before you can upgrade your device.
2. Launch the Samsung Kies on your computer and connect your Galaxy S2 Plus.
3. Assuming that the drivers are already installed on your computer, Samsung Kies will notify you of a new firmware available for the phone.
4. Follow the instructions provided for you including the backup requirements to safeguard your personal settings and data files on your smartphone.
5. Do not disconnect the Galaxy S2 Plus during the update to prevent corrupting the firmware. In addition, make sure that the battery level is at 50 per cent before proceeding with the update.
6. The smartphone may reset several times during the update which normally happens.
7. Once the update is complete, you can check the firmware version installed on your phone by going to "Settings > About phone > Android version."
How About Manual Installation?
According to the German Web site Android-hilfe.de, you can manually install the firmware using Odin tool on your computer if the update push is not available in your area.
