Recently, reports of Sony doing final stage of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean for Sony Xperia S, but now it seems like the update is finally available for download and installation on your handset.

Sony Mobile posted the new update for Xperia S of Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean firmware with software number 6.2.A.0.200. The date posted on the page is '2013-04-24' and according to Sony, the text is typographical error.

Uber Gizmo indicated that the build 6.2.A.0.200 is an Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean which means this could the latest update for Sony Xperia S. If this is a fact, the update on the said device is coming out really, really soon and owners should check their handset if the push notification has already reached them.
