Olivia Wilde has filed for divorce from Tao Ruspoli
Actress Olivia Wilde cites irreconcilable differences when she filed for divorce from Tao Ruspoli, ending eight years of marriage
The representative for Olivia Wilde has confirmed that "The Tron: Legacy" actress has filed for divorce from husband of eight years, after separating from Tao Ruspoli last month.
Quoting the report from TMZ, UsMagazine said that Wilde cited ‘irreconcilable differences’ as reason for divorce indicated in the legal documents filed at LA court.
Wilde had eloped with Ruspole when she was barely 18 years-old after meeting the filmmaker son of late Italian Prince Dado Ruspoli. The couple had made quite a stir when they tied the knot in an abandoned school bus in rural Virginia eight years ago.
"Olivia got married really young. She's done a lot of growing since then, just like anyone would...they've just grown in different directions,” an unidentified friend of Wilde was quoted as saying by the UsMagazine.
Another unnamed insider confirmed who made decision to file the divorce papers.
“It was Olivia’s decision to split,” an insider was quoted telling UsMagazine.
The actress, added UsMagazine is already rumored moving on with Blue Valentine actor, Ryan Gosling.
The celebrity magazine noted that Wilde and Gosling were spotted walking while holding hands at a Newport Kentucky aquarium last week.
