Olympic diver Tom Daley has unveiled he is dating a man. "Of course I still fancy girls but right now I'm dating a guy and I couldn't be happier," said Daley. The 19-year-old Daley via a YouTube post said, "In spring this year my life changed massively when I met someone, and they make me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great. That someone is a guy."

As soon as his confession hit the web, Twitter was flooded with loving tweets for Tom Daley. The YouTube confession addressed the rumours about his sexuality.

Former "X Factor" star and lesbian singer Lucy Spraggan showered her love for Daley saying: "Insane amount of love for @TomDaley1994 today, the only man I've ever googled imaged to admire the beauty of!"

The bronze medal winner at London Olympics 2012 said his mother was one the biggest supporters.

"So lucky to have such a supportive mum! I love you!" wrote Daley after posting the video on YouTube.

Daley mentioned that his father Rob, who died of brain cancer in 2011, said to him, "As long as you are happy. I'm happy."

Daley also said that he got mixed opinions from some family members and friends when he told them that he was ready to announce.

"Lots of them wanted me to keep it quiet. I didn't want to get my words twisted."

"Lots of them did not believe it," added Daley, reported by BBC.

Tom said that he wanted to put an end to all the rumours and reveal everything.

"My friends and family are always there to support me and I hope you guys can be too."

Daley said in the YouTube confession video: "It did take me by surprise a little bit. It was always in my head that something like that could happen. But it wasn't until spring this year that things just clicked. It felt right and I thought "Okay". And my whole world changed there and then."
