Olympic Skier Lindsey Vonn Discusses Unpleasant Experience with David Letterman
Lindsay Vonn was a guest of David Letterman on his late night show on Oct 28, where she talked about a number of things such as her Schladming injury as well as her relationship with Tiger Woods and her mother.
During Vonn's appearance on the show, Letterman had somewhat ridiculed skiing, as reported by USA Today.
We are not exactly sure which part of the show that the late night TV host made fun of Vonn's sport, but there was one part during the first few minutes of the interview when Letterman asked the Olympian about her injury at Schladming.
"He had no right to be so disrespectful and make fun of my sport," said Vonn.
Vonn said she didn't want to stop the host or "tell him off". She stated that when she decided to make an appearance, she should "play along and accept the rules of the show." "One of the rules is that David Letterman's Late Show is not the place for serious discussion of the rules of competitive skiing," Vonn added.

Vonn had a tough 2013 season. She had two life-and-career-threatening injuries, but those won't stop her journey towards the World Cup.
"Thankful and happy to announce I will be starting in the World Cup downhill race tomorrow, #readytorace #iwill #tbt #sochi2013" she posted on Instagram on Thursday. This would be the first time that she will be competing since her crash.
It seems that she is determined to test her knees again in the World Cup that she has dominated for so many years. Overall, Vonn has won four World Cup championships. She won the title in three consecutive seasons in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2012.
Vonn is also looking forward for the Sochi Winter Olympics in 2014 and is optimistic that she will be able to bring home an Olympic gold medal like she did in 2013. The 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics begins February 2014, just a little over a couple of months.
