Omar Borkan Al Gala Increases Facebook "Female" Followers: Staggering Half Million “Likes” in 5 Days [PHOTOS]
Omar Borkan Al Gala has More than Half a Million of Followers in Less than Five (5) Days!
Omar Borkan Al Gala has been quiet for days since his deportation from Saudi Arabia for being “too handsome” has gone viral since April 26. But women continue to make noises for him as they make up a large part of his followers on Facebook which now has reached to more than half a million “Likes” in (hours less) five days as of this writing.
“Hi, and thank you for all those lovely messages. I'm sorry I haven't had time to get back to all of you :D Xoxo I Love you all !,” Omar’s last post he shared in his timeline on his Facebook Page on April 25.
The Dubai native has taken the online world by storm after he was identified as one of three men ordered out of the Middle East country for his “unlawful good looks.” While the two others remain unknown, and most likely being hunted by the Islamic religion officials, Omar has embraced his fate, which had done him “more good than bad” judging by the slew of women expressing their love and support to the self-described fashion photographer and actor.
And these women continue to come in big numbers. Omar Borkan Al Gala now has a staggering 510,361 Likes with 386,808 Followers talking about his page, zeroing mostly on his “unfortunate” deportation as of 6am Pacific Standard Time, April 30, 2013. This figure is an increase of more than 150,000 Facebook Followers since this writer first reported on Omar Borkan Al Gala’s growing popularity on the social media network on April 29, recorded at 441, 335 Likes with 165, 337 users discussing his deportation. Omar had barely 85,000 Facebook followers before the news broke out that Saudi Arabia’s Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices ordered local authorities to get him out of the country.
Before his “arrest due to his unlawful good looks, a report by IBT-AU noted that Omar was seen promoting his works at the annual Janadriyah Festival in Saudi Arabia when he got the ire of the alerted alerted religious officials who then threw the Dubai native out and deported him back to the United Arab Emirates.
'A festival official said the three Emiratis were taken out on the grounds they are too handsome and that the Commission [for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vices] members feared female visitors could fall for them,' an Arabic newspaper, Elaph was quoted as saying by the Daily Mail in another IBT-Au report.
He may not be popular among the Saudis, but he certainly is well-loved by women all over the world. Days after his arrest, his followers show that the same Islamic rules apply to them and the self-described poet and model has been swooned by almost half a million of them. From Indonesia to Vietname, from Guatemala to Portugal, from Mexico to Chile and from the United States, half a million of women get swooned by Omar’s controversial looks.
