Once upon a Time Season 2 will have Mulan and Aurora as recurring characters interacting with Snow White, Prince Charming, Cinderella, as well as Beauty and the Beast. Meanwhile, the actress playing Snow White says "Once" is going to be a whole new show.

Jamie Chung, from "Hangover 2" and "Real World" will play the role of Mulan, while Sarah Bolger will be Princess Aurora. Both fine actresses are expected to create more sparkle in the series with their beauty and brilliant acting.

Fans know that show runners Eddy Kitsis and Adam Horowitz creatively twist the traditional storylines of the fairy tale characters in Once. For instance (spoiler alert to those who have not seen the entirety of Season 1), Beauty's Beast and Rumpelstiltskin are merged into one very complicated character. In another example, King Midas' daughter almost married Snow White's Prince Charming. (Speaking of, who knew that Prince Charming had an identical twin brother?)

How will the writers twist Sleeping Beauty and Disney's Mulan? Well, they are only two of the elements to look forward to next season.

Speaking to E! Online, Ginnifer Goodwin (Snow White) shares some teasers on Once, Season 2:

"We're going to remember our parallel lives, so we'll be creating essentially a third character. They are going to blend the two characters we've already been playing. It's going to be a brand-new show. But I think it will still be all the characters the fans know and love."

Mulan and Sleeping Beauty could be introduced at a time when all the fairy tale characters have remembered who they are apart from their life in Storybrooke. Either this, or they will be seen in back stories. Either way, their inclusion is expected to provide more entertainment.

Belle and Red Riding Hood are also expected to get more screen time. The actresses playing their roles, Emilie de Ravin and Meghan Ory, respectively, have just been promoted to series regulars. Both actresses used to be recurring characters playing an important role in the lives of the leading cast.

Apart from the characters, the one thing that fans can't wait to see in Once upon a Time Season 2 is the return of magic. Remember what Ms Goodwin said: "It's going to be a brand new show."
