Once upon a Time will soon return for its second season. Lana Parilla, who plays the roles of Storybrooke's Regina Mills and Fairy Land's the Evil Witch, has said in an interview that the evil queen will have "a very different life" next season. What could that mean?

Speaking to Wetpaint, Parilla teases on what awaits the evil queen on Season 2:

"I think we are going to see her in a very different life this season. She's on the path to redemption! She's tried every avenue and it doesn't quite work the same anymore."

Redemption for the evil queen, eh? Link that to a different life and what speculations arise? A humble apology-seeking mayor-slash-witch?

Asked how she sees the dynamics between her character and Rumpelstiltskin aka Mr Gold, Parilla said:

"Oh God!! You know I think they are two peas in a pod. I think they love each other and they hate each other."

This perception is interesting, coming from the actress herself. It gives viewers hope for an evolution of their relationship. But of course it is too early to be excited about that. Once upon a Time is only on its second season.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Morrison told Huffington Post her character, Emma, will not find it easy to deal with the revelations of the first season finale.

"Emma is not an emotionally advanced person. She's definitely someone who has shut herself down in a lot of ways and wears her armor very thick, and doesn't really have experience with handling emotions. So when she's got a rush of feelings going on, her immediate response is to shut down or make a joke because she can't handle it," Morrison said.

How will this "shutting down" show in the next season of "Once upon a Time?" Viewers have to wait for only a couple of days before Emma is seen again with her parents, Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Prince Charming (Joshua Dallas).
