SPOILER ALERT: This article contains some spoilers for those who have not seen "Once Upon a Time" Season 2 Episode 14, "Manhattan." Read at your own risk.
In "Manhattan," Rumple's most awaited face-to-face with his estranged son Neal/Baelfire has finally come to pass. That Baelfire and Neal are one and the same does not come as a shock. Many OUAT fans have called it since Emma refused to divulge the identity of Henry's father. What could be shocking, if not disappointing for some fans, is Neal's current situation.
Emma, Neal, and Henry: OUAT's Very Complicated Family
If you've noticed how Neal/Baelfire was not all-out romantic towards Emma (he said maybe something good came out of their being together as if it's all over), it's because he is with someone else. And they're pretty serious. Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma Swan, dished the scoop to TVLine's Matt Mitovich.
"Emma's not going to forgive Neal or ask for him to be in her life romantically, but she at least feels that it would probably be best for Henry to have Neal in his life," the actress said, adding, "But [it is later] revealed to her that he has a fiancee -- a whole life that's been going on. So, that definitely is complicated!"

Granda Rumple and Henry, His 'Undoing'
Mr Gold/Rumple treats Henry to a hotdog sandwich in Manhattan, as they wait for Emma to return with Baelfire. The old man credited the young boy for taking Emma to Storybrooke. Then viewers see a flashback to the time when the Seer told Rumple a young boy will lead him to his son.
"He will lead you to what you seek, but there will be a price. The boy will be your undoing," the Seer told Rumple. Baelfire has just gone off to another world at the time.
"Then I'll just have to kill him," the Dark One reacts abruptly. Fast forward to 28-plus years later, it turns out the Seer left out another "pesky detail." The boy is his grandson. What does "undoing" mean in the Seer's context? Will Henry eventually plot Rumple's death, or will he break his curse as the Dark One?
"Beware, Rumplestiltskin, for that boy is more than he appears," the Seer said.
If you are wondering whether OUAT will soon show how Henry ended up with Regina, or how Rumple made that happen, series co-creator Adam Horowitz has some good news.
"We are going to explore the origins of what made Regina go get Henry," Horowitz told TVLine. It's about time, isn't it? On March 3, OUAT returns with an episode called, "The Queen is Dead."
