The "Once Upon a Time" Season 3 premiere ("The Heart of the Truest Believer") aired on Sunday, Sept. 29. The new OUAT chapter offered some closures and opened new questions in Neverland, which is proving to be such a dark place - even for the Evil Queen and Rumplestiltskin. It looks like it will be Peter Pan vs Emma Swan, as the "saviour" takes the leadership role in the Jolly Roger team. Soon, viewers will also meet Baelfire's grandfather.

Rumple aka The Dark One (Robert Carlyle) is reduced to tears by one of Peter Pan's Lost Boys in Episode 1 of Once Upon a Time Season 3. The Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) turns a mermaid into a stone. But she knows her magic is not enough in Neverland. Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) now leads everyone to save her son Henry (Jaerd Gilmore).

Greg and Tamara are gone. It seems the first order of OUAT business is to eliminate the temp characters and focus on Neverland. Some viewers had a lot of Tamara questions, but it seems they will have to create the Tamara back story from their own imagination now.

"It'll be a while until they're in Storybrooke," Once Upon a Time co-creator Edward Kitsis told Hypable. The first half of OUAT Season 3 will mostly take place in Neverland. The season premiere has no time for Storybrooke updates, as Neal aka Baelfire (Michael Raymond-James) is caught in the Enchanted Forest with Sleeping Beauty aka Princess Aurora (Sarah Bolger), Prince Phillip (Julian Morris), Robin Hood (Sean Maguire), and Mulan (Jamie Chung).

Frustrated over all the bickering on board the Jolly Roger, Emma Swan takes the lead to save Henry. Snow White (Ginnifer Goodwin), Prince Charming (Josh Dallas), Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue) and the Evil Queen couldn't disagree lest they would only be wasting their time. By OUAT Season 3 Episode 2 ("Lost Girl"), the unlikely team mates face Peter Pan's Lost Boys.

Pan himself will go for Emma Swan. He has shown such a very strong and dark vibe in the premiere. And it does seem he could beat the Dark One in a heartbeat. But what does he want from Ms Swan?

Explaining the major focus on Once Upon a Time Season 3, co-creator Adam Horowitz told Zap2it, "There's something in these games that he's playing that's all tying in to his ultimate goal."

Peter Pan is not the only one who will get "exposed" in Once Upon a Time Season 3. The story of Rumplestiltskin and his father will also be told, according to early spoilers. It is expected to link up to the rag doll tossed to Rumple by one of the Lost Boys.

Once Upon a Time Season 3, Episode 2 ("Lost Girl") is summarised as follows on TV.com: "As they explore Neverland trying to find Henry, Pan secretly approaches Emma and offers her a map that will lead her to Henry... if she accepts who she is."
