"Once Upon A Time" Season 4 premieres later in the year on ABC. There is still no news on final casting for Queen Elsa, Anna and Kristoff. The name of "Gossip Girl" star and Adam Brody's wife Leighton Meester is among the fan-suggested names in various social media sites.

Series creators Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis have yet to announce the actress playing Queen Elsa in Once Upon A Time Season 4. There are speculations that another "Lost" star would be cast. At the same time, fans are casting their personal favourites as long as there is no one being officially hired yet.

Leighton Meester is a believable young actress, whose Blair Waldorf character drew various emotions from sympathy to love and loathing via the now defunct wicked youth drama, "Gossip Girl."

In an old Us Weekly report, it is revealed that Leighton Meester is a natural blonde, which the Snow Queen aka Queen Elsa is in the 2013 movie "Frozen." Incidentally, Meester's 'Gossip' co-star Blake Lively is also among the actresses being suggested for the prized OUAT Season 4 role.

Meester was recently seen on Broadway in the play "Of Mice and Men." She married her "The Oranges" co-star Adam Brody in February this year.

Fans of Gossip Girl probably miss both Leighton Meester and Blake Lively on television. Features considered, however, casting either one of them as Queen Elsa could not be a bad decision for the showrunners.

Once Upon A Time Season 4 is expected to follow the same format as OUAT 3 - it will be divided in two major parts, with one big villain in each part. Many fans are convinced Queen Elsa would be a villain in the first part of OUAT 4.

Anna and Kristoff would also show up in Once Upon A Time Season 4, but it is Queen Elsa who would be an integral element in the new arc.

Snow White's daughter Emma Swan accidentally brought Queen Elsa to "the present" after she herself was sucked into "the past" of the Enchanted Forest.

Once Upon A Time Season 4 casting announcements are expected soon, as filming for the fall TV lineup traditionally begins in July.
