"Emma captures and questions the Snow Queen, who uses the opportunity to turn her against her family," begins the new episode synopsis on TV.com.
In Once Upon A Time Season 3, in a quest to find her son Henry (Jared S. Gilmore), Emma confronts her issues - feeling like an orphan, being unable to easily use her magic at will, and struggling with the realities around her family. Now in OUAT 4x7, the Snow Queen is expected to use these issues to get Emma on her side.
The Snow Queen wants to create a world in which only three powerful sisters exist - herself, Elsa (Georgina Haig), and Emma Swan. She takes more steps toward this goal in Once Upon A Time Season 4, Episode 7.
"Meanwhile, Regina (Lana Parrilla) and Robin (Sean Maguire) continue trying to find a way to save Marian (Christie Laing), and Henry continues his undercover mission to find out what Gold (Robert Carlyle) is hiding," continues the OUAT 4x7 synopsis.
Viewers know that Regina wants to confront the fairy tale book author and demand a happy ending for herself. In the meantime, she has to keep her promise to her soulmate: reverse the spell that froze his wife. In Once Upon A Time Season 4, Episode 6, Regina asks Robin to forget her because she is the reason why true love's kiss has failed to work between Robin Hood and Marian.
The OUAT 4x7 promo video shows Emma Swan pushing away her father Prince Charming (Josh Dallas) and boyfriend Captain Hook (Colin O'Donoghue). Her magic seems more powerful than ever, but she is unable to control it.
"In the past, the mystery behind Ingrid's (Snow Queen) powers is revealed," ends the OUAT 4x7 synopsis, hinting at a journey back to Arendelle, where the Snow Queen originates.
It remains to be seen how the Dark One will get involved, but Oncers know that Rumple will not watch the Snow Queen's plan unfold if it means Belle (Emilie de Ravin) will be in harm's way. Oncers also await what happens to Henry's mission: digging into his gramp's pawnshop for answers.
