'Once Upon A Time': Season 5 spoilers: Hades' plan revealed; dangerous new secret weapon could mean more deaths

A promo video of the next episode of “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 has been released online. The video shows what Hades’ plan is and how he plans to use a powerful new weapon against the heroes. The weapon is dangerous and may lead to even more deaths in the next episode.

The promo video shows a conversation between Zelena (Rebecca Mader) and Hades (Greg Germann). Zelena tells him that her sister Regina (Lana Parrilla) doesn’t trust her and has threatened to harm Hades.

Hades promises to give himself up to the heroes in order to protect Zelena and her child. Zelena refuses to allow him to do that for fear of losing him. The only alternative for the couple is to defend themselves from any attacks.

Zelena offers to cast a protection spell, but Hades points out that the spell may not be enough to stop the heroes. Hades then reveals a powerful new weapon that is a family heirloom. The Olympian crystals that Hades shows Zelena once belonged to Zeus and the Lord of the Underworld describes them as being powerful and dangerous.

Hades has waited for a long time to use it. Will the powerful new weapon lead to more deaths in “Once Upon A Time” Season 5? Several characters have already been killed in this season. Emma (Jennifer Morrison) had to bid Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) goodbye in the previous episode.

Another major death was of Peter Pan (Robbie Kay). Rumple (Robert Carlyle) killed his father by using water from the River of Lost Souls. Rumple used Robin Hood’s (Sean Maguire) heart to distract Pan enough that he didn’t realise that his son had added water from the River of Lost Souls in it.

Episode 21 of “Once Upon A Time” Season 5 is titled “Last Rites.” The episode is expected to focus on the heroes wanting revenge on Hades for betrayaing them in the Underworld.
