'Once Upon A Time' Season 6 premiere episode pictures released online; Emma has a 'big secret'

Stills from the premiere episode of “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 have been released online. Meanwhile, Executive Producer Edward Kitsis has teased that Emma will be keeping a “big secret” right off the bat this year.

The first episode will show the heroes investigating a strange crash site of an airship. Pictures from the episode posted on Entertainment Weekly show the heroes being joined by Dr. Archibald ‘Archie’ Hopper (Raphael Sbarge). Emma (Jennifer Morrison) can be seen having a chat with the resident psychiatrist of Storybrooke.

The main plot of the next season will revolve around a new set of characters coming to Storybrooke from The Land of Untold Stories. Some of the new characters may be in need of help and may be seeking allies when they meet the heroes.

Storybrooke was taken over by Mr. Hyde (Sam Witwer) in the previous season. According to the official synopsis of the premiere episode of “Once Upon A Time” Season 6, the heroes will fight with the new villain to take back control of the magical town.

Apart from the action there will also be some high drama in the next season. Kitsis told TV Guide that Emma will be keeping a “very, very big secret” from Hook (Colin O’Donoghue). The producer did not elaborate on what this secret is about.

The title of the first episode is “The Savior.” As the title suggests, the episode will be focused on the mythology of the Savior. The producers have already revealed that Emma was not the first person to take this title. Aladdin (Deniz Akdeniz) was also given this title, and his story will be explored this year.

The other big storyline in “Once Upon A Time” Season 6 is the return of the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla). Meanwhile, Rumple (Robert Carlyle) will try and wake Belle (Emilie de Ravin) from the self inflicted sleeping curse.
