'Once Upon a Time' season 7: New characters and new identities teased
The first trailer of “Once Upon A Time” season 7, released at the San Diego Comic-Con, teased the new setting, new characters and new identities of the returning characters. The stories will be focused on Seattle and a town called Hyperion Heights.
The journey this year takes a similar route. Just as young Henry (Jared Gilmore) went knocking on his mother’s door years ago, a grown-up Henry (Andrew J. West) finds a young girl claiming to be his daughter at his doorstep in Seattle. The daughter, Lucy (Alison Fernandez) has stories to show from her magical book. There is a new villain and curse. Henry can be seen racing through the Enchanted Forest in his motorcycle.
The trailer gives fans a first look at the new Cinderella (Dania Ramirez) and her evil step-mother Lady Tremaine (Gabrielle Anwar). The other additions are the wicked step-sister Drisella (Adelaide Kane), Alice in Wonderland (Rose Reynolds) and Tiana (Mekia Cox).
The trailer also teases familiar characters Evil Queen/Regina (Lana Parrilla), Captain Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) and Mr Gold (Robert Carlyle). The three have been affected by the curse, so they have no recollection of their past selves.
Hook is now a police captain. Mr Gold’s new identity is not yet clear, but the trailer shows him in what seems like a dusty old warehouse. Regina is at a bar. All three are expected to come together when Henry arrives in the Enchanted Forest.
“Once Upon A Time” season 7 is set to premiere on Oct. 6. The title of the episode has been revealed to be “Hyperion Heights.” The second episode will focus on Hook and has been titled “A Pirate’s Life.” More details about the plot are expected to be revealed in the coming months.
