'Once Upon A Time' Stars Bring Their Fairy Tale Romance To Real Life?
It wouldn't be the first time reel couples have fallen in love for real. Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas' chemistry playing "Once Upon A Time" fairy tale couple is so believable, that rumors are flying about a possible real life romance.
Sources close to the show hint the onscreen couple may be dating, but Goodwin's camp dismisses the rumors.
"Josh and Ginny are not dating," the spokesperson clarifies to E! Online. "They are friends and enjoy working together."
"This story has come up before, and I would really appreciate it if you could make sure you put the correct story out there that they in fact are not dating," the representative adds.
Despite officially declaring they are "just friends", this does not keep the television couple from making appearances together.
Goodwin and Dallas were snapped arm in arm on the red carpet for the Country Music Association Awards at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Both stars showed up as guests and presenters at the prestigious country awards.
"Once Upon A Time" is a new ABC series that tells of the adventures of a schoolteacher trapped in the village of Storybrooke where fairy tales aren't as fictional as she thought. Goodwin stars as present day Snow White, while Dallas plays her Prince Charming.
"They've taken all these iconic characters that we all know, but they've made them somehow realer," Dallas explains in an interview, expressing his pride at being part of the project. "There's a real reality to them. Price Charming just happens to be a name. He's still a man with the same emotions as any other man."
"He's like everybody else. He's human," he finishes.
Goodwin agrees, saying the famous Snow White that everyone knew as a child is treated differently from the traditional Disney princes. "But I feel they've really fleshed her out in a way that I hope makes her far more relatable and interesting to watch."
The fantasy series is raking in the ratings in their pilot season, and more television fan favorites are already set to appear.
Emilie de Ravin, previously of "Lost" fame, is teaming back up with Lost producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis on "Once Upon A Time". ABC announced the 29-year-old will guest star as Belle from "Beauty and the Beast".
