One Direction Gets Its' Own Cartoon
Almost everybody on the planet knows who the British Boy Band, One Direction is. Composed of five utterly adorable boys named Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayne Malik, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson, these boys have the same effect as Cody Simpson and Justin Bieber.
Now, the boys from One Direction are ready to create more manic with cartoon versions of themselves. It's the Adventurous Adventures of One Direction.
All five boys started from humble beginnings on the hit television series, "X-Factor." Realizing their immense talent and charm, Simon Cowell, rounded up all five boys and created the ultimate British boy band, One Direction.
Two years to date, the boys have sold over a million concert tickets and their fame continues to skyrocket. With over a billion followers each on Twitter and an equally billion "likers" on Facebook, the boys of One Direction have got the whole world going for them.
Still, with their fame, television stints, interviews and concerts aren't enough. One Direction now has their eye on animation. Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Nial Horan are delighted to become a part of the animated show, "The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction". The boys are hoping that the collaboration with renowned animator, Mark Parson, will go to even greater heights.
To date, the sneak preview of the cartoon has over five million views on YouTube. The video continues to be viral over social networking sites which mean only one thing - the cartoon is a hit and fans want more of the boys.
"We loved it and there might be some more cartoons with our voices in the future," shared Liam.
The boys and the fans love it so with the cartoon in the works, would there also be a 3D film in the plans?
"It's early days but it's something that their management and label are excited about," shared a source.
"It may be documentary footage mixed with a concert film, or it could even be a comedy caper in the style of old Monkees films. All options are open, though they're unlikely to get cracking on shooting it until next year."
