After a cheating scandal nearly broke up Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards, it seems that their love has grown stronger. The couple is said to get married after a public engagement. All thanks to a tweet sent out by Perrie, fans assume that a wedding is soon to take place.

"You better get ready to hold babies more @zaynmalik. Since meeting that child today, that's givin' me ideas ;) Perrie <3," stated Edwards on the official Twitter account of Little Mix.

As for Zayn, multiple sources clam that the One Direction singer is "deadly serious" about proposing to Perrie and her family greatly agrees on the idea. According to a post by Reveal Magazine, Malik and Perrie are ready to settle down despite their young age.

"Zayn's ready to settle down and take the next step with Perrie," explains the source, adding, "They've been discussing getting engaged with family and friends and everyone thinks it's a great idea. Zayn's deadly serious about it and it looks like he could propose at any time."

In fact, the wedding is set to take stage this summer. Indeed, how time flies for this couple!

"After the cheating scandal Perrie wanted a trial period to see if they could get through it. It worked and they've ended up growing even closer. Perrie says they could be engaged as early as the summer and that they'd have a big wedding for all their friends, including loads of celebrity pals," continued the source.

However, before "Directioners" go cray over this sudden engagement and alleged summer wedding, Perrie's mother has taken to Twitter to clear the rumours.

"@LittleMCrew not that I have heard baba xx," stated Deborah Edwards on answering a tweet sent out by a fan regarding Perrie and Zayn's wedding.

Still, Perrie's mother is quite fond of Zayn and is keen on a union between her daughter and the One Direction singer.
