One Direction Love: Perrie Edwards Admits to Having Crush on Niall Horan Before Zayn Malik

Things might get a little complicated between Niall Horan and Zayn Malik of One Direction all thanks to Perrie Edwards' big reveal. In an interview, the Little Mix singer had admitted she had a crush on Niall Horan of 1D before getting into a relationship with Zayn Malik. How would Zayn Malik react to all this?

Talk about awkward. One Direction's Zayn Malik is obviously happy and in love with Perrie Edwards but the latters' eyes might be wandering. For one, Perrie's eyes haven't wandered far enough because news has it she's got a bit of a crush on Zayn Malik's band mate, Niall Horan.

Before "Directioners" start sending out hateful tweets against Perrie Edwards, here's to getting facts straight. First off, Perrie Edwards had a short crush on Niall all thanks to his braces. During a fan chat, Edwards gushed about Niall looking so "cute" and "rocking" the braces looks. It seemed Perrie was hung-up with braces back when she was a kid that she wanted to hook up with boys wearing them.

"Please get a brace, because I've always wanted one!" said Perrie during a Twitter chat, adding, "I want a brace now, but I wish I had had one when I was younger."

Last year, Perrie Edwards' band mate, Leigh-Anne Pinnock dished to a magazine about Edwards' crush on Horan months before she and Malik got together.

"Perrie's got a little crush on Niall," said Pinnock to which Jesy Nelson added, "Ever since she found out that he likes her, she won't stop talking about it."

Hopefully, there aren't residual feelings left in Perrie Edwards for Horan and fans of the "Zerrie" couple should hope Zayn isn't the jealous type. Judging from the recent posts about Perrie crushing over Niall, Zayn is the least bit concerned. In fact, Zayn Malik and Perrie Edwards had celebrated their first anniversary together with a romantic trip to the City of Lights, Paris. The couple were spotted smooching under the Eifel Tower.

As for Niall, the Irish cutie won't be found "cute" anymore by Perrie Edwards given he had his braces removed last month.

"Morning. ! This is it ! I'm goin to the dentist! I think this is my last hour with braces! Oh how I'm gona miss them ! Naaaaaaat !" said Horan on Twitter.
