While thousands of teens were screaming as One Direction perform on Brisbane stage, their parents have been holed up in a nearby entertainment center, waiting patiently for their children and see to it they go home safe after a night full of fun.

Not all Aussie parents could sell their children’s tickets as punishment to their child, as did one mom who made the headlines a couple of months back. Parents of teen fans, particularly female Directioners, found themselves no choice but to give in to their child’s request to be allowed attending 1D concert.

And to ensure their safety, parents themselves drove them to the concert venue in Brisbane and most decided to stay and wait for their youngsters until the curtain was rolled down Saturday, Oct. 26.

They stayed in the corridors of the BEC killing time until the concert ended. Brisbane Times writer, Natalie Bochenski described the facility like an “evacuation centre,” where the parents stay in “a makeshift facility full of sallow faces and slumped bodies, left limp and battered by Cyclone 1D.”

These parents may still be wondering the impact 1D boy band members may have on their offspring. But they had a chance to share what they thought could be a unique story to fellow parents who apparently have the same experience with their teens.

As parents exchange stories in their 1D battle with their children, their kids are screaming on top of their lungs as they hear their idols speak to one another and thank them for taking part in the weekend concert.

These parents must have taken a drink or two while their children scream to the sound of One Direction singing songs of the heart and young romance.

“They weren't snobby but instead waved, blew kisses and were fun and respectable towards the crowd. No matter what they said the crowd just screamed and made so much noise. When they spoke to each other, they joked but were serious at the same time, Amber Smith was quoted as saying in her short essay published on Brisbane Times.

As for the parents, it looks like some of those who wish that Cyclone 1D should come to an end may still be heard wishing in the next few years as Ambers shows no sign of stopping in her essay.

Amber noted, “They played a good selection of their songs. It was a really good show, I enjoyed it so much and would definitely go again if I had the chance. I think everyone should go! “
