One Direction Says 'Steal My Girl' Is Their Official New Single From Upcoming Album 'Four' [SEE VIDEO]
One Direction boys are challenging their fans to "Steal My Girl." Before the fans start racing their minds in some other direction, let it be clear that the boy band has not thrown a challenge to anyone but has revealed the name of their official new single from their upcoming album "Four." "Steal My Girl" will be released on September 29, Liam Payne announced on Twitter.
"Steal My Girl" is currently available for pre-order in the United Kingdom and Ireland. The song will first be released on the radio on September 29 and later will receive a full release on Sunday, October 12, 2014, Contact Music is reporting.
The new track is co-written by One Direction band members Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne but the boys have also sought the help of Ed Drewett, Wayne Hector, Julian Bunetta and John Ryan. Ed, Wayne and Julian are the ones who also wrote "Best Song Ever." The boys expressed their excitement about the news on their Twitter accounts.

"Steal My Girl" features "cascading stadium piano chords" showing the band is "continuing to expand their influences and song-writing ability while retaining their widescreen pop sound," according to a press release by Columbia Records. The song will serve as the first official single from their upcoming new album "Four," which is scheduled for a November 17 release.
To celebrate the announcement of their new album, the One Direction boys have also offered their fans a chance to download a free new song "Fireproof." The track was available for free only for 24 hours on the band's website. Fans loved the free gift immensely and the song received a whopping 1.1 million plus downloads in the 24 hours. The official page of One Direction also posted the picture of the "Steal My Girl" cover, which can be seen here.
