One Direction's Harry Styles hasn't been caught out and about lately. Well, there seems to be an explanation for suchthat. Harry is allegedly flirting with newly single, Miley Cyrus. Sources claim that the curly-haired cutie is "obsessed" with the "Bangerz" singer.

Looks like Harry Styles has got a taste for hot blondes. After dating Taylor Swift and Cara Delevingne, Harry Styles is looking to date Miley Cyrus. In fact, sources claim the two have been texting each other since meeting back stage at the MTV Video Music Awards.

"It's no secret in Harry's circle that he's pretty obsessed with Miley. It started when she cheekily pinched his bum at the VMA awards. Afterwards he made a few jokey comments about her on TV and then dressed up as her for Halloween," stated the source.

Since the VMA's, Harry and Miley have been text buddies.

"So he decided to message her to make sure she wasn't offended by any of his remarks or actions. She wasn't, and they've been texting since," continued the source.

Looks like Harry even has plans to meet Miley in Los Angeles. The source goes on to state that Harry and Miley have arranged for a meet up with Miley's car, a Maserati, involved.

"Harry asked Miley, 'Can I come and drive your Maserati sometime?' And naturally he also reminded her they are both currently single, which is very typical of him and his flirty ways," claimed the source.

Given Miley Cyrus has called off her engagement with "Hunger Games" hunk, Liam Hemsworth, a month ago, Cyrus is free to date whoever she pleases. The big question is: do "Smilers" agree with the latest pair that is Harry and Miley? Some "Directioners" claim Miley is the least bit of Harry's type but some think it could work.

"Harry is NOT BF Material and he is NOT Miley's type but, hey they could have some fun ;)," says a user on OceanUp.

Only time can tell if these two pop stars do hook up. Stranger things have happened in the past and a relationship between Harry Styles and Miley Cyrus won't be the least bit surprising.
