One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson discusses new song ‘Love You Goodbye’
One Direction has debuted their new song, “Love You Goodbye,” off the album “Made In The A.M.” in America last Wednesday. Along with the debut, the band also discussed the inspiration for the song.
In a brief interview with “Good Morning America,” it was revealed that the track “Love You Goodbye” is a very personal song for band member Louis Tomlinson who got uncomfortable when asked to talk about it.
“It's kinda about when you come to the end of a relationship and you have to meet for one last time,” Tomlinson said. He did not elaborate on what he meant about "one last time" but the 23-year old singer coyly said, “You know what I mean.”
When asked about how much the members have contributed to the song writing process, Harry Styles said that if the song is as personal such as “Love You Goodbye,” their tendency is to back off and leave it the way the writer had it.
Meanwhile, rumours of a secret relationship between Tomlinson and Styles have been circulating in the Internet. Styles moved to deny the speculations and was straightforward in saying that the rumours are false.
Former One Direction member Zayn Malik echoed the same statement in a separate interview with Fader magazine. Malik insisted that the affair speculations between the two are purely made-up by fans. He said, “There is no secret relationships going on with any of the band members.”
The speculation have been going on for years but both Styles and Tomlinson denied the claims. The young lads have had open romances with women before the public eye. In fact, Tomlinson is set to become a father with Briana Junwirth.
