One Direction is clearly the most wanted boy band in the world. With rapidly rising name and fame, it'll soon be hard to spot the immensely talented gang of boys. New Years Eve is just two months away. Stars are onto making their plans for the big day. And according to some sources, Sir Richard Branson, the Virgin Atlantic tycoon has invited One Direction to his New Years Eve Bash on Neckar Island. The party will have all the A-listers, millionaires and billionaires and tinsel town top-notches. And the star studded party will be entertained by the enormously popular Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and all the members of One Direction band.

"One Direction has been asked to be the main attraction and perform at the party. Officially the bash is being thrown to celebrate the start of space flights with Virgin Galactic which are due to be launching by the end of 2014, but it will not be a 'worky' event. Sir Richard wants everyone to let their hair down and have a good time. He has invited guests to stay for a decadent party," a source told The Mirror.

Also, One Direction has broken a Sydney venue record on their latest tour in Australia. The pop boy band performed their seventh and the last sell-out Sydney concert at the Allphones Arena on Saturday inscribing a new record in the history of the venue.

They broke the record of the Metallica show in 2010 which sold 74,244 tickets whereas One Direction sold 81,542 tickets. To honor the band for their successful shows the Allphones Arena authorities presented each member of the band with a gold microphone and unveiled a "Star" marking the bands record breaking sales in the Sydney Olympic park which is now located outside the main entrance of the venue.

Since the time One Direction has gained prominence they have been topping the charts and hearts of all their fans with their one after the other hits. The recent release was their "Midnight Memories" album's song "Story of My Life." The song has been well received by the fans and now all they are waiting for is its video.

According to the recent update of One Direction's music the "X Factor USA" judge Simon Cowell has tweeted that the video of the new song "Story of My Life" is the best one to date. So, hang on for the official release of the video, One Direction will surely win hearts yet again.
