One Direction played to a successful, sold-out concert in Brisbane, Queensland in Australia on Oct. 21, 2013.

The popular boy band, made up of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne performed at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre stage, much to the delight of their fans, who screamed at the top of their lungs upon seeing the boy band emerge from the stage.

An estimated 5,000 fans, mostly teenage girls, trooped to the said concert. It reportedly featured lasers and Light-emitting diode (LED) screens that showed video montages. Plus, it also had a Perspex stairs. Perspex, which is also called Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is a transparent thermoplastic that is a lightweight and shatter-resistant alternative to glass.

The concert's theme is about being the best party in the world, which goes with their hit single "Best Song Ever." The boys frequently changed outfits within the show, sporting black or white shirts with jeans.

The boy band sang their songs, including "Best Song Ever," and "What Makes You Beautiful," while dancing as they waved to the crowd and blew kisses to their fans. This caused the already screaming fans to scream some more. Other girls even cried.

Aside from their own songs, they also performed a cover of the song "Teenage Dirtbag," from the band Wheatus.

According to 14-year-old Amber Smith, who attended the concert in Brisbane, it was a good show.

"They played a good selection of their songs. It was a really good show, I enjoyed it so much and would definitely go again if I had the chance. I think everyone should go!" said Amber.

Australian pop rock band 5 Seconds of Summer, featuring Luke Hemmings on vocals and guitar, Calum Hood on vocals and bass guitar, Ashton Irwin on vocals and drums and Michael Clifford on vocals and guitar, were the opening act in One Direction's concert. They were also well-received by the audience, with their own set of fans screaming for them.
